Recipients of violence prevention grants to be announced

LEXINGTON, Ky. — In an ongoing effort to combat violent crime, Mayor Linda Gorton and One Lexington Director Devine Carama are set to announce this year’s recipients of the ‘ONELexington’ Violence Prevention Grants.

The announcement will take place during a news conference at noon on Monday at the Government Center. The event will be live-streamed on the city’s YouTube page for those unable to attend in person.

The ‘ONELexington’ initiative focuses on reducing violence through community engagement and support. These grants are aimed at funding local programs and organizations that work towards violence prevention and promoting safety within the community.
