Ravenna man arrested in Madison Co. on drug charges

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Madison County Sheriff says a Ravenna man has been arrested after deputies found heroin in his hotel room.

According to the Sheriff, investigators went to the Super 7 motel on reports of drug trafficking in the area.

When they arrived, deputies say they made contact with 30-year-old William Cornett, who had rented a room at the motel.  Deputies say they found five packages of heroin while searching Cornett’s room.

Cornett was charged with possession, along with outstanding warrants from Estill and Clark Counties.

He was taken to the Madison County Detention Center.
