Rape reported on the University of Kentucky campus

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — The University of Kentucky Police Department has issued an alert following a report of a rape on campus.

According to campus police, a female student says she was sexually assaulted by a male student in a residence hall between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the suspect is known to the victim. They say the case is currently under investigation.
