Randall Cobb named to 2026 College Football Hall of Fame ballot

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Randall Cobb, one of the most dynamic and versatile players in Kentucky football history, has been named to the 2026 College Football Hall of Fame ballot, the National Football Foundation announced Monday.

Cobb was with the wildcats from 2008-2010, and played multiple positions—wide receiver, quarterback, and return specialist. He set the SEC single-season record for all-purpose yards (2,396 in 2010). Additionally, he also holds the UK record for career touchdowns (37).

After declaring for the NFL Draft as a junior, Cobb was selected by the Green Bay Packers in 2011 and enjoyed a 13-year NFL career, totaling over 7,600 receiving yards and 54 touchdowns.

Cobb graduated from UK in 2016 and has been inducted into both the UK Athletics Hall of Fame and the Kentucky Pro Sports Hall of Fame.
