Lexington restaurant hosting fundraiser to help family displaced by house fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A local Lexington restaurant is stepping up to help a family who lost their home in a devastating fire earlier this month.

Ramsey’s Diner – Lucille Drive will donate a portion of its proceeds to support the Campbell family, whose home was destroyed by fire in the Masterson Station area.

The fundraiser will take place Sunday, January 26, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Masterson Station Ramsey’s Diner location only. Community members are encouraged to dine in during that time, with part of the evening’s sales going directly toward helping the family recover.

How to help
• Dine in at Ramsey’s Diner’s Masterson Station location on Sunday, January 26
• Time: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Location: 112 Lucille Drive, Lexington
• A portion of all dine-in proceeds during that time will be donated to the Campbell family

Community members are encouraged to stop by for dinner and help support the family as they work to recover from the fire.

As previously reported, the fire broke out around 11:30 p.m. on January 1 at a home on Meadow Valley Road.

According to the Lexington Fire Department, the house was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived. Firefighters said no one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

Supporters say the fundraiser is a simple way for the community to come together and help a local family rebuild after losing everything.
