Raising Cane’s moves to $15 an hour minimum pay for Kentucky workers

 The move by the company will raise starting hourly wages by over $2.50/hour

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers announced that effective immediately, Raising Cane’s will pay all workers across Kentucky a minimum of $15 an hour – a move that brings the hourly minimum at the restaurant to more than double the state minimum wage. On average, this will be a $2.60 per hour increase to hourly worker wages. Cane’s will also be adjusting hourly manager pay to a minimum of $18 an hour.

This move comes after the company announced aggressive plans for growth in 2022. These plans include opening over 100 new Restaurants with five Flagship Restaurants, in over 10 new markets.

This increase in wages will be more than a $2.2 million investment for the company.
