Rabies shots available in May for a lower cost in Fayette Co.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department’s annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic will be held on May 4th from 6-9 p.m. at Valley Park located off of Cambridge Drive, according to officials.
Rabies is a viral disease of humans, pets and wild animals, is transmitted from animals to humans by the saliva of a rabid animal, usually from a bite.
The Health Department says vaccinations will cost #3.00 and all cats must be in a carrier, and all dogs must be on leashes.
