Rabbit Hash General Store open again after devastating fire

RABBIT HASH, Ky. (WTVQ)- The landmark Rabbit Hash General Store is now open once again.

The store celebrated a grand re-opening Saturday after the 185-year-old icon burned to the ground last year.

The store has the same look as it once did, but now it has smoke detectors, a sprinkler system, and a walk-in refrigerator.

Boone County Judge Executive Gary Moore has proclaimed this week Rabbit Hash General Store week.
