Pursuit In Pulaski County Ends In Death

A police chase ended in a death late Saturday evening in Pulaski County.

State police said they got a call just before 10 Saturday for a reckless driver in KY, HWY 80 in Somerset. That car was described as a white BMW convertible.When troopers tried to stop the car, it continued.

After a brief chase, the car crashed into another vehicle. When police went to the car they found 50-year-old Lonnie S. Wall of Smyrna, TN deceased. Walls was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Kentucky State Police detectives are continuing the investigation.
