Puppy rescued from frozen creek in Scott Co. headed to Ohio

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Scott County Animal Shelter bid farewell to a puppy brought to its facility after being pulled from a frozen creek.

The shelter posted on Facebook Friday that “Chapel” will go to the rescue organization Speak for the Unspoken in Ohio.

Chapel was found in a creek, wrapped in two garbage bags that were weighted down with rocks.

She is blind and the shelter says she is going to Speak for the Unspoken to get the special training and attention for her disabilities.

The shelter says Chapel has “no idea how many people she has touched and how special she is.”
