PumpkinMania lights up Transylvania University for 15th year in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – One of Lexington’s favorite fall traditions is back! PumpkinMania at Transylvania University is celebrating its 15th year — lighting up the historic steps of Old Morrison with hundreds of glowing jack-o’-lanterns.

Each pumpkin was carved by students, alumni, and community members as part of this year’s theme, “Carved in History,” which honors Transylvania’s nearly 250-year legacy while looking toward the future.

The PumpkinMania Festival kicked off Sunday with a community carving event, and the display will remain lit each night through Thursday, October 30. Admission is free, and organizers encourage families and visitors to stop by the Transy campus to enjoy the festive sights.
