Pulaski Store Owners Indicted In Alleged Retail Crime Ring

Several store owners and managers in Pulaski County were accused of encouraging shoplifters and some food stamp recipients to bring items to them, to be resold.

A grand jury charged ten people with engaging in organized retail crime.

Police said it involved items from Kroger, CVS, Dollar General and Kmart.

Investigators said the merchandise was for sale at other, smaller stores.

Police said they had people go undercover to bring in the items for resale.
