Pulaski Sheriff warns residents of scam

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-  The Pulaski Sheriff has a scam warning.

He says someone called a local 19-year-old woman and told her there was a warrant out for her arrest for missing jury duty.

Sheriff Greg Speck says the scammers convinced her to send them cards loaded with money.

Sheriff Speck is warning others; reminding them police would never get in touch with you over the phone to get money or keep you out of jail.
