Pulaski County shooting suspect called 911 after killing man, sheriff says

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 News Now) — A man is facing a murder charge after a deadly shooting in Pulaski County early Saturday morning.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a home on Garland Road where they found 35-year-old Thomas Wayne Dick of Indiana dead from a gunshot wound.

Investigators say the suspect, identified as Anthony Scott Emerson of Ohio, called 911 himself and told dispatchers he shot Dick during an altercation.

Emerson was arrested and charged with murder. He is being held at the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
