Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office investigates shooting after family dispute

EUBANK, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one man hospitalized.

Deputies were called to 416 Northern Crossing Road near Eubank around 8 p.m. Wednesday about a family dispute.

They say they found 35-year-old Dustin Sparkman suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso.

He was airlifted to the University of Kentucky hospital.

His condition isn’t known at this time.

Investigators believe Sparkman may have been shot by a juvenile, who stepped in to stop the fight.

No charges have been filed.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing.
