Pulaski County man charged with first-degree rape after investigation
PULASKI COUNTY, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Pulaski County man is behind bars after being arrested on a first-degree rape charge, according to Sheriff Bobby Jones.
Deputies arrested 35-year-old Aaron J. Acton of Eubank on November 26 following an investigation led by Deputy Marcus Harrison. Officials say Deputy Harrison initially responded to the complaint and later gathered additional information and evidence that resulted in Acton being charged.
Deputy Harrison was assisted during the investigation by Crimes Against Children Detective Jay Picard with the Criminal Investigation Division. Deputy Noah Wesley also assisted in Acton’s arrest.
Acton is being held at the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
