Pulaski County man arrested for child exploitation

Charges result from AG investigation

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 23-year-old Pulaski County man has been arrested on child exploitation charges.

According to the Attorney General’s Cyber Crimes Unit, Bryceton Wayne Prater is charged with 100 counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, which is a Class D felony.

On October 13, 2021, the Attorney General’s Department of Criminal Investigations executed a search warrant at a residence where Prater was located. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office assisted DCI detectives during the arrest.

The Attorney General’s Digital Forensics Lab will continue to analyze digital devices seized from Prater, and additional charges could be filed, the state said.
