Pulaski County man arrested on child porn charges

SCIENCE HILL, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police arrest a Pulaski County man they say had child pornography.

Investigators say Ardyth R. Prather III was taken into custody on Thursday evening as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

Detectives say they searched Prather’s home in Science Hill and seized equipment that was used in the crime. It was taken to the Kentucky State Police forensic laboratory for examination.

Prather is currently charged with two counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

He was booked into the Pulaski County Detention Center.
