Pulaski County man arrested after narcotics investigation and search warrant

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A man is in custody following the execution of a search warrant on Thursday. According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation began after the narcotics division identified a residence on Highway 196 suspected of trafficking illegal substances. Detectives later conducted multiple undercover purchases of illegal narcotics from 66-year-old Freddie S. Collett of Nancy.

Authorities executed a search warrant at the home, where they reportedly found digital scales, baggies, drug paraphernalia, and $5,870 in cash. Collett was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and second offense methamphetamine over 2 grams.

The investigation remains ongoing.
