Pulaski County couple arrested on child abuse charges

EUBANK, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Pulaski County couple has been arrested following allegations of child abuse, according to Sheriff Bobby Jones.

According to a release, deputies responded to a residence on Floyd Switch Road in Eubank on the night of March 5 after receiving a report that a child had run away seeking help at a neighbor’s house. The child alleged that both parents had committed multiple acts of abuse against them and another child in the household.

The release says, when deputies arrived, they conducted an initial investigation and contacted the Department for Community Based Services’ Division of Protection and Permanency, which also responded to the scene. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division was later called in to assist.

Marty Williams, 61, and Judith Williams, 62 were arrested March 6th.

  • Marty Williams was charged with Assault in the Second Degree – Domestic Violence.
  • Judith Williams was charged with Strangulation in the First Degree – Domestic Violence and Assault in the First Degree – Domestic Violence.

Both suspects were arrested at the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Pulaski County Detention Center. Marty Williams’ bond was set at $80,000 cash or property, while Judith Williams’ bond was set at $100,000 cash or property.
