Pulaski County coroner confirms 4-year-old killed after tube of fireworks fell and struck child

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Pulaski County Coroner’s Office confirmed to LEX News that a 4-year-old was killed after a tube of fireworks fell over and hit the child in the torso on Saturday night.

The coroner’s office has identified the child as Rhett Luttrell.

Luttrell’s grandmother spoke to media partner LEX News and stated, “He loved to go the donut and coffee shop with his mommy, and loved to play dinosaurs with his daddy.”

Further, LEX News learned that Rhett was a Kentucky basketball fan who called the team “The blue team, Wildcats.”
