Pulaski Co. stabbing victim airlifted to UK

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Commonwealth Journal is reporting that a Burnside man has been arrested after he reportedly stabbed another man in the throat.

The paper says law enforcement went to a home on Caney Branch Road on Monday after a report of the stabbing.

They found the victim there, but say the suspect had run off.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office told the Commonwealth Journal that the victim was taken to Grave Hill Baptist Church, and then airlifted to University of Kentucky Medical Center, where he was stabilized enough to communicate with investigators.

Then, at about 6:00 p.m., the paper says law enforcement arrested 30-year-old Ryan Wade in connection to the stabbing, reportedly having to use pepper-spray to take him into custody.

Wade was charged with assault and resisting arrest, with additional charges expected.
