Pulaski Co. deputies asking for help finding Family Dollar attempted robbery suspect

SOMERSET, Ky. (WTVQ) — Pulaski County deputies are asking for help finding a suspect after a man attempted to rob a Family Dollar in Somerset nearly two weeks ago.

On Nov. 23 around 4:45 p.m., a man allegedly walked into the Family Dollar at 4360 South Hwy 27 demanding money. He “presented himself in a manner that led the store clerk to believe he was armed,” according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

The store clerk alerted another employee of the store of the man’s presence and demands, at which time the man fled from the business and the area, deputies said.

Sgt. Alex Wesley described the suspect as a white man who was approximately 5’10” and was wearing a black Adidas sweatshirt, dark track-style pants and black tennis shoes. The man was wearing a mask.

The man drove off in a black Jeep Compass SUV and left toward the Somerset Mall.

If you have any information, you’re asked to call deputies at 606-678-5145.
