Public safety teams hold active shooter drills in Woodford County

VERSAILLIES, Ky. (WTVQ)- Officers in ballistic armor, garnishing firearms surrounded a factory in the Versailles Industrial Park, Saturday in the name of building a safer community.

The public safety agencies, along with state and federal partners held the training based on an active shooter and mass casualty scenario.

Victims with simulated injuries and many emergency vehicles could be spotted from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
