Public asked to help identify sexual assault suspect

CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a sexual assault case.

On September 20, 2016, shortly after 10:00 p.m., State Police say they received a call that a woman had been sexually and physically assaulted on West Avenue in Bedford.

Investigators say the reported victim provided them with a description of her unknown assailant.

The suspect was described as a white male of medium build with dark hair that was cut short on the sides and long on top.
