Providence Christian Academy is closing
NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Providence Christian Academy has announced it will permanently close its doors at the end of summer programming on August 1, citing financial struggles and declining enrollment.
The school’s board voted unanimously to shut down both the academy and preschool. In a statement, leaders said the decision was made to ensure staff contracts could be honored and to avoid a more disruptive mid-year closure.
Founded in 2004, PCA has served families in the region for more than two decades. Board members described the closure as a difficult but necessary step.
