Protesters arrested for second consecutive night in Lexington for blocking road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Six protesters were arrested Friday night in Lexington for blocking a road, just a night after four others were arrested near UK’s campus for the same.

Police say Friday night, the six people they arrested were blocking traffic on Limestone and Vine Streets, forcing vehicles to drive around them.

Those protesters are now charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing a highway.

Police say no other incidents happened during Friday’s protest.
