Protective order legislation passes the House

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky House of Representatives voted unanimously last night to pass House Bill 8 (HB8) which establishes procedures for victims of stalking, and domestic or dating violence to file for interpersonal protective orders.

The next step for HB8 is to leave the House and be received in the Senate to be considered by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
