Propane canisters explode as firefighters battle fire

LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Anderson County Fire Department battled a tricky fire on Thursday.

Firefighters were called to Alton Station Road just before 11:50 a.m.

They say they arrived to find a 16×20 building on fire.

The building was packed with items, including propane canisters.

Firefighters say the canisters were exploding in the fire.

No one was hurt.

The fire could be seen from town, according to the firefighters.

The building was destroyed.

The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
