Pro-Trump supporters protest in front of Sen. McConnell’s office

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)-A group from Texas called BAIR, which stands for Bureau of Islamic Relations, protested outside Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s Lexington office along Corporate Drive this afternoon. They wanted to make clear to him and others that it’s time to, as they say,”Get on the Trump train.”

They want politicians like Sen. McConnell to work with Donald Trump to end radical Islamic terrorism.

David Wright, leader of BAIR, says “No more of this doing what you want to do. It’s time for you to start doing what we want you to do.”

The group says there are radical Muslims here in Lexington and that they’ve protested mosques in Texas where they know people have been radicalized. They say they plan to open a new BAIR office in Kentucky soon.
