Princeton Woman Arrested on Firearms Charges

EDDYVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – An investigation into a Lyon County burglary back in February led to the arrest of a Princeton woman on firearm charges, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers say 31-year-old Joni S. Dowell fraudulently purchased firearms for two other people, one of whom was a convicted felon.  Investigators also say that the firearms were purchased using stolen money.

Dowell was arrested on December 6th and charged with fraudulent firearm transaction and receiving stolen property.

She was taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
