Princess-themed dining experience coming to My Old Kentucky Dinner Train
BARDSTOWN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – My Old Kentucky Dinner Train is hosting a princess-themed dining experience where families can enjoy a day of royal activities and a train ride.
Guests are invited to dress in their favorite princess attire and take part in face painting, princess meet-and-greets and themed activities before boarding the train.
During the one-hour and 45-minute roundtrip excursion, families will enjoy a tea party-style meal while a princess visits each table to sing, read stories and interact with guests.
The event includes a three-course meal featuring appetizers, roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans for adults, and a kid-friendly entrée with chicken and waffles and tea sandwiches. Bite-sized desserts will also be served.
Children attending the event will receive a keepsake princess wand. Adults will have the option to purchase mimosas, while kids can enjoy princess mocktails.
Organizers say children under two years old can ride on a lap without a ticket but will not receive the event amenities unless a child ticket is purchased.
