Prince Charles, Camilla making stops in Louisville on Friday
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Britain’s Prince Charles and his wife are wrapping up a trip to the U.S. with a daylong stop in Louisville.
Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, are making several appearances in the city on Friday.
Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer are hosting a cultural festival at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage to be attended by the royal couple. Later, Prince Charles will be in Old Louisville and at the Cathedral of the Assumption, while Camilla visits Neighborhood House, Oxmoor Farm and Churchill Downs.
The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/1x6iClE ) reports they will hear performances by the Louisville Youth Choir and others, and the prince will meet in roundtable discussions on topics including faith and the role of business in making healthy communities.
