Pregnant Lexington doctor receives COVID vaccine

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Women’s Health shared a post Friday to encourage pregnant women the COVID-19 vaccine is safe.

The caption says in part, “The first pregnant provider and patient to receive the Covid-19 vaccination at Baptist Health is our own, Dr. Sarah Borders.”

The post says Dr. Borders is 24 weeks and 1 day pregnant, “and is happy to receive her first dose of the vaccine.”
