Poythress Wanted To Go To Class After Tearing ACL
By now, the bad news surrounding the UK men’s basketball team has sunk in for Solid blue Fans.
Junior forward Alex Poythress is out for the season with a torn left ACL.
The good news though according to Coach Cal, Alex will be fine.
It’s the team that will hurt the most during this ordeal.
Poythress has insurance that will make him a millionaire even if things turn south and he can’t make a return to the court.
On top of that, he has his grades in order and should graduate with his bachelor’s degree in the spring.
So the outlook, while tough to talk about so early, is promising for Poythress.
