Poythress’ presence felt in return

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It was an unexpected surprise Tuesday night for Solid Blue fans at Rupp Arena.

Alex Poythress came off the bench and went in the game versus Alabama.

Poythress missed a handful of games the past three weeks, but against the Tide, he made his presence felt once again.

14 points in all for AP as the Cats beat Bama 78-53.  Not quite the 25-point night the senior forward had in Tuscaloosa, but overall, it left Cal pleased.
