Powerball ticket worth $50,000 sold in Nicholas County

CARLISLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Lottery says a winning $50,000 lottery ticket was sold in Nicholas County.

The lottery says the winner of Saturday night’s drawing has not come forward.

The ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball to win the game’s third prize. The winning numbers for the September 29th drawing were 9 – 17 – 34 – 59 – 64 and Powerball 22.

The winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at Old Paris Road Liquors in Carlisle.

The lottery advises the winner to sign the back of their ticket.

They have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
