Powerball jackpot rises to $700 million

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – After no winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, the day began with a new jackpot of $675 million dollars.

That number, however, didn’t last long before a new jackpot was reached.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is now clocking in at $700 million dollars, with a cash option of $428.4 million.

That is the largest jackpot of any lottery game in U.S. history
