Powell County Schools Unveil Safe School Helpline

Powell County Schools have a new Helpline for students.

The NEW Safe School Helpline is available to report threats of violence, depression, and illegal activity that could harm you or others in our schools. Your tip is private, confidential and anonymous. If you or someone you know is having trouble, please call or encourage the student to call. 1-800-418-6423. The call will be routed to a counseling and crisis center that provides 24-hour crisis intervention service 365 days per year. Anonymous tips can also be made by text to 66746 or www.safeschoolhelpline.com

This Helpline has been developed for you, and other students, parents and staff members to help maintain your safety and the most positive school environment possible. The purpose of the Safe School Helpline is to promote school safety and report wrongdoings or illegal activity.
