UPDATE: Pothole repairs continue into Tuesday, closing lanes in Fayette Co.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, is working to repair potholes on Fayette County roads.
This road work will close some lanes of traffic on a few of the county’s main roads.
Workers will be out on Tuesday, Jan. 23 until 3:30 p.m.
Below is a list of where repairs will be done, from the transportation cabinet.
New Circle Road/KY 4
- Inner Loop – left/fast lane
Nicholasville Road (milepoint 0.0) to Versailles Road (milepoint 4.611)
- Outer Loop – left/fast lane
Versailles Road (milepoint 4.611) to Nicholasville Road milepoint (0.0)
- Inner Loop – left/fast lane
Woodhill Drive (milepoint 14.508) to Nicholasville Road (milepoint 19.283)
- Outer Loop – left/fast lane
- Nicholasville Road (milepoint 19.283) to Woodhill Drive (milepoint 14.508)
Pothole patching is a mobile operation — motorists are advised to watch for signage and flashing arrows directing of the ongoing work.
