Post Office destroyed by fire in Floyd County

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a post office and apartment in Floyd County on Monday.

Investigators say the Weeksbury Post Office caught fire in the early morning hours.

People who received their mail at that post office can now get it from the Melvin Post Office.

Anyone who thinks they may have lost mail in the fire can contact McDowell Postmaster Rhonda Meade at 606-377-6038.
