Popular pastor leaving parish in Richmond
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – After 12-years, Father Jim Sichko is leaving St. Mark Catholic Church in Richmond. He will celebrate his final masses this weekend. Over the years, the popular pastor became known for his random acts of kindness in the community and for bringing in big name entertainers and well-known figures for fundraisers.
Father Jim is taking a position with the Catholic Diocese of Lexington. He will travel across the country as an evangelist. He will still make his home in Kentucky.
Father Jim’s final masses will be this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
