Poor man’s reopening of street in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Businesses celebrated a poor man’s re-opening of a portion of North Upper Street in downtown Lexington on Monday. As we reported a few weeks ago, North Upper Street between Short Street and Main Street reopened earlier this month. It was closed nearly two-years for construction.
A poor man’s ribbon cutting was held Monday morning, much to the delight of businesses that were hurt by the street closure.
