Polls Now Open Across The Bluegrass

Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes expects more people will vote in Tuesday’s midterm election than did in the May primary.

Polling locations across Kentucky are open for voting 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4.

Voters need to be in line by 6 p.m. for their vote to count.

Kentucky voters will be choosing a candidate for U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.

Registered voters in Lexington will be choosing their mayor, state and county government as well as council, constable and coroner positions.

There’s a list of who is running on the Board of Elections website. That list should also be available at polling locations.

Voters can check their precinct voting location here.

Voters should also bring a government issued photo ID to their polling place.

ABC 36 News will have coverage from the Republican and Democratic headquarters and breaking updates across multimedia platforms as results of the election come in.
