Police work to identify robbery suspect
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)– Investigators with the Lexington Police Department are working to identify a suspect responsible for robberies in Lexington and Georgetown.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall, 200 pounds, wearing a red and black hooded jacket.
On Saturday, March 24, around 3:45 AM, police responded to a robbery call at the Dairy Mart located at 155 East Reynolds road in Lexington.
An employee reported that the suspect entered the store, pulled out a gun, and demanded money from the register.
The employee complied with the demands and after getting the money, the suspect fled the scene.
This description also matches that of a suspect responsible for a robbery in Georgetown.
