Police: Woman shoplifted, then gave police fake name

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) — Richmond police say a woman who stole merchandise from a Belks store has been identified. Investigators say 34-year-old Melinda Osborne took close to $100 worth of items. Police accuse her of shoplifting and giving police a false name.

Investigators say Osborne is currently in jail in Rockcastle County. They say the warrants were served on her there.
