Police: Winchester Road crash under investigation

(WTVQ) LEXINGTON, Ky. – Police are investigating an early morning crash off of Winchester Road.

Officials say around 3 a.m. Friday, a driver lost control and crashed into a gate leading up to a residential driveway.

Police say the driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say they suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash.
