Police will trade badges for aprons Tuesday for Tip-A-Cop fundraiser
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ)- Some local law enforcement agencies are pulling together to raise money for Special Olympics Kentucky.
The “Buffalo Wild Wings Cops Gone Wild for Special Olympics Kentucky” is this Tuesday, September 15, in Richmond. As part of the fundraiser, police officers, troopers and deputies will wait on tables. Their tips will help Special Olympics. There will also be a wing-eating contest.
Organizers say the ‘Tip-A-Cop’ fundraiser will include Kentucky State Police, Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Richmond Police Department. The event is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run campaign.
The community is invited to help by dining at Buffalo Wild Wings at Richmond Centre this Tuesday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.
