Police: Two people arrested on drug charges in Richmond

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people in Richmond were charged with having drugs, weapons, and over 32-thousand dollars worth of cash, according to police.

According to the Richmond Police, 26-year-old Amy Miller and 29-year-old Christopher Cummings were arrested on Friday after a search warrant of a residence off Letcher Drive.

Officials say officers seized more than (9) pounds of marijuana, over (10) grams of cocaine, a handgun and approximately $32,000.00 dollars in U.S. currency.

Both were charged with trafficking in marijuana over 5 LBS. and trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, according to investigators.

Cummings and Miller were lodged at the Madison County Detention Center.
