LPD: Two men arrested after being seen in stolen car

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two men have been arrested after police say they were seen in a stolen car Friday morning.

Lexington Police say around 8:45 a.m. they attempted to pull over a stolen silver Toyota Camry.

According to officers, the vehicle did not pull over so police ended the pursuit.

The driver ended up crashing into a dumpster on Hollow Creek Road, according to detectives.

When the police arrived, the car was empty.

According to police, they were able to track down two of the people who they say were in the car.

Investigators say Alajuwuan Martin and Kiwane Walker were both charged with receiving stolen property.
